This beautiful Elm Row apartment has a fresh and comfortable feel, having been brought to market after a recent renovation. The property is in a super location, within short walking distance to some of Edinburgh's favourite restaurants and all of the main popular sites.

The apartment sleeps a total of 6 guests, in two double bedrooms and one twin room with two single beds. The whole space boasts a beautiful hardwood floor throughout, giving it a really traditional and spacious feel. The kitchen is very newly fitted and includes modern appliances. The kitchen, lounge and dining area are open plan, making it the perfect space for socialising with a morning coffee. There is a beautiful bay window at the end of the lounge, which allows light to flood in, making it an extremely light and bright room. The dining table is nestled with the window area, a great spot to sit and look out onto the surrounding streets.

The bathroom too, is brand new with an extra large mirror and powerful shower over bath. There are traditional features throughout this property, such as original fireplaces and beautifully coved, high ceilings. This property will act as the perfect place for any guests looking to explore all day and retire at night before popping out to one of the many surrounding restaurants for a bite to eat.

Stockbridge, Old Town and Princes/George Street are all within a short 15/20 minute walk, however should you have any more specific questions about the area, we would be happy to help.

We provide our guests with complete privacy while staying in our apartments and access to the keys are via a lockbox, however our on call team are available to help whenever needed in the run up to or during your stay.
There are a few available streets just off of London Road for free parking (an approximate 5 minute walk), and there is also pay and display parking available around the immediate area.

Please do note that this property is strictly no smoking and we ask all guests to be extremely considerate of our neighbours while staying in our properties.

The area surrounding the property has transform in the last 10 years into a place bursting with trendy & delicious restaurants, charming cafes and unique shops… everything is walk-able and ideal for the Fringe Festival.

The New Town has some of the finest and least spoiled Georgian architecture in Britain and continues to be one of the most popular residential areas in Edinburgh. Leopold Place sits within a lively and varied cultural neighborhood. It is right in the heart of all our city has to offer: art galleries, specialist shops, the famous Lyon & Turnbull auction rooms and Edinburgh's premier comedy venue, The Stand are all nearby. The National Portrait Gallery and main shopping areas of George Street, Princes Street, as well as Edinburgh Playhouse and the Omni Centre and its cinemas are all just round the corner. You are close to the delights of bohemian Broughton Street offering a plethora of outstanding restaurants, delicatessens, cafes and pubs.

There are great opportunities for interesting walks to Calton Hill, Arthur’s Seat, Holyrood and the Castle, the Old Town, and not much further afield are the highly acclaimed Royal Botanic Gardens and walkways alongside the Water of Leith. We are also conveniently placed for Edinburgh’s central business district and the Scottish Parliament and University buildings are all within easy reach.

Whatever time you arrive there are a couple of local mini-markets with a couple of minute's walk. There is a large supermarket slightly further away - a longer walk or a short cab/uber ride.


Getting Around:

Edinburgh has excellent public transport and our flat is well placed and well served by all types of transport. The tram will take you directly from/to the airport at the stop at Broughton Street/Queen Street and then it is just a 5 minute walk from/to the flat. There is a great bus system with bus stops within 50 metres of our front door and the night bus system means you will be able to get back home in the early hours. Waverley train station is only a 10 minute walk. St Andrew Square bus station is a 15 minute walk, and also serves central Edinburgh and beyond.

We are also newly served using Uber cars and of course, the standard black cabs.

Other things to note:
Please note that there are several stairs to get into the apartment and that due the the old Edinburgh architecture- there is no lift.
Oh, and this property is actually on the Edinburgh Marathon start line!
