We were lucky to have found the 55 Hide Hill property in Berwick Upon Tweed. The flat was in a central location, was gorgeous, clean, very spacious and had all the extra amenities we appreciated, such as a washer and dryer, a well-appointed kitchen and a convenient parking spot. This flat was the best we had in our trip to England and Scotland.

We had an excellent stay at Hide Hill. It is in the centre of Berwick and has its own car parking space. The apartment itself is tastefully decorated, well furnished and spacious. It is very conveniently located for restaurants and bars and to see the sites of Berwick. It ticked all our boxes.

More than adequate for us, tastefully decorated,Vera very kind and helpful when we needed an item, and bonus of reasonably priced Italian restaurant very close by.

Beautiful apartment, in an absolutely central location of Berwick. Pubs and restaurants just moments away! City walls also about a minute from the door, affording wonderful views and lots of insights into Berwick's long and interesting history. Beach about 1km walk away, which is an absolute must for nature lovers: many interesting bird species to observe, and (out of season) it is wonderfully tranquil. Apartment is brilliantly equipped, with everything you could think of needing. Wonderful, spacious living area and comfy beds. Good storage space for travellers. Highly recommend!

A beautiful, immaculately clean apartment in the centre of Berwick with good access to the Northumberland and Scottish coastline. I would recommend this apartment if you wish to explore but would advise if you wish to eat in Berwick to book early (especially in the school holidays) as on our first evening we couldn’t get in anywhere! We did try Limoncello downstairs and it is very nice and handy for drinks and food. The only slight negative thing about the location of the apartment is if you have small children on an evening it can be noisy due to being above the restaurant/bar! Overall I would highly recommend.

The apartment is in the downtown area, and was very clean and well-serviced. Good restaurants within walking distance. The Italian restaurant downstairs has a wide variety of excellent food and beverages. If you’re not happy with loud music, then I suggest a different venue. The contact person, Vera was a joy to work with.

We recently stayed at 55a Hide Hill, Berwick upon Tweed. We found the apartment very easily using sat nav and the written directions made available to us. The apartment is in the centre of the town making access to shops, fabulous restaurants, bars and walks very easy. The apartment is imaculate and well furnished throughout with very comfortable beds and sofas to relax on. There was everything we needed to self cater (not that we did that much apart from breakfast as there are some great restaurants in town). Even though it is situated in the heart of the town and above a busy restaurant and bar it was very quiet and relaxing. Fantastic walks around the ramparts, we downloaded a guided town walk which gave us a full insight to the history of the town - well worth doing. Dont miss the crab sandwiches in Deyns Deli - so good we went back twice. We can recommend Gasparro's Italian but please book to avoid disappointment. The Captains Quarter and The Curfew are also well worth a visit. All in all a fab long weekend. Thank you
