Description

This ultra modern and very chic basement apartment is in the heart of Edinburgh's city centre. Broughton street is mere steps away and the walk to Princes and George Street are just minutes.

This property is ideal for 2-4 guests, with one large double bedroom and a very comfortable pull out sofa bed. Enter the property through your own main door, down the steps (which turns into a little heat trap!) There is a gorgeous newly fitted bathroom with underfloor heating and both a bathtub and shower. The kitchen and living space provide ample room which is great for any guests travelling with children. The property has a nespresso machine, SMEG fridge, superfast wifi and all of the usual mod cons you'd like to see in your holiday let. We can also provide a highchair and travel cot should you require it.
Guests love this property due to it's incredibly central location, surrounded by restaurants and small independent shops!

Location

The property is by some of the best restaurants and venues Edinburgh has to offer. Broughtoun Street is just around the corner and Princes street and George street just a 5 minute walk away.

Our family of four had a wonderful stay at the underground oasis!! We loved how it was so walkable to the hustle and bustle of the city in one direction out the door, and turning the other direction, we were in a quaint, peaceful neighborhood. Loved the Broughton Market nearby for fresh provisions. Would highly recommend this place!

Our stay in Edinburgh and in this flat have been wonderful: the commodities in this entirely renewed flat have been very much appreciated. Comfy beds, modern and enjoyable bathroom, even Netflix on tv (!), and very easy and reactive answers from Sonia before our arrival have been great. I'd add that a whole week is not enough if you want to enjoy all the faces of Edinburgh. We walked every day during our stay and we did what follows: visiting the castle of course, Camera obscura (mainly for children), the whisky experience (with double tasting and the glass offered), Mary King's close is not to be missed, a city sightseeing should be done on arrival I think, the Greyfriar's cemetery, Calton Hill and the visit of Dean village with The Water of Leith walkway were also a must. Adding to these, a one-day guided tour with Discover Ireland in the Trossachs National Park and a french guided haunted tour with the lovely and charming Amy were wonderful as well. We'll be back some time...

I loved the location... just around the corner from the tram, restaurants, bakeries, shops and grocers. Apartment is as advertised and very comfortable. Was great to come home to after a day of sight seeing. Having access to a washing machine was appreciated. Try the Thai place across the street, food and service delightful! If you arrive via train, take the Tram towards Newhaven from st Andrews square, get off at Picardy place, and walk, maybe 5 min to apartment….

We had a lovely time in Edinburgh, the flat was a perfect location and had everything we needed. We requested a travel cot and high chair and they were supplied with no trouble, beautiful flat and suitable for young children.

A really nice apartment. It is a basement apartment in a quiet street, and large for two people. It has a perfect location with less than 10 min walk to Princes Street The communication with Sonia was good, and the check in was really easy. The apartment was clean and everything was working. I can recommend this apartment.

This is a beautiful and well kept flat in a central location in Edinburgh and with lots of great restaurants near by . We went to the festival and only 15 mins walk to main attractions and national gallery and John Lewis five mins away ! We parked last minute at Q 1 on SimpsonLoan and you could get lots cheaper booking before hand . The main bed really comfy and our teenagers said same of the sofa settee. Well equipped kitchen , very clean and modern. Very quiet and felt really safe and Sonia replied quickly to any enquiries. We had a wonderful 4 days and booking again with Sonia for a bigger property next year as more of us want to come. The Edinburgh Dungeons a big hit with our teenagers, even at 17 pounds they would not stop talking about it. Enjoy Sue
