Description

Just a stones throw from the city centre of Wick, this Northerly cottage sits beautifully off the A99, making it the perfect destination for those taking on the stunning NC500 route.
Drumdry has recently completed a HUGE renovation and this historic little cottage has bags to offer family and friends. Sitting adjoined to an old steading building, we love the history that this property holds. It found it's name 'Drumdry' from when local patrons would pop to the bar and receive their drinks through a still visible alcove. When the drum was empty, it was 'Drumdry'!

The cottage has brand new carpets throughout and guests will instantly notice the attention to detail upon arrival. There are two bedrooms, one with twin single beds and the other with a large King, facing South over the flat landscape of the North. Both bedrooms have a TV.
The kitchen has everything you could possibly need and the owners of this property ensure their guest's will want for nothing! The soft furnishings in the home are beautifully handmade by the owner and there are personal touches throughout.
Nespresso machine, Good WIFI and Smart TV's are all available in this home. The garden is secure and there is a washing line outside (trust us when we say your laundry will dry faster on the line than it will in a tumble dryer!). One well behaved dog is welcome on request and with prior agreement.

For those Summer nights, enjoy the newly landscaped garden and pop on the coal BBQ. Sit outside and take in the 360 degree views.

No bath, but a lovely large walk in shower, big enough to sleep in. The property is child and family friendly and we have both a travel cot with linen and high chair available should you need it- one less thing to pack!
We can't wait to begin welcoming guests to this little gem!

Location

The city centre of wick is 5 minutes drive away. We are very close to the Castle of Mey and both John O' Groats and Duncansby stacks are all within a 30 minute drive. The East coast has some breathtaking views and a huge amount to offer, including some of Scotland's oldest harbours and ferries to the Northern Isles!
