Cozy little cabin with Lots of wildlife on your doorstep! Our dog loved that!
Owners were lovely - left a little arrival basket and some of their free range eggs! Delicious!
Would absolutely recommend for a relaxing get away

The property is central and it is very easy to move around, specially if you do not have the car.
Everything was as described, it is very well equipped.

The Bothy is gorgeous. Photos don’t do it justice. It’s quiet, relaxing and very comfortable. Amazing having cows, hens and peacocks wandering by. It really is a magical place. Peter who lives in the house close by was a great host, friendly and keen for us to enjoy the bothy and area. Would love to stay again.

We felt very comfortable in this adorable place! We loved that there aren’t windows in two of the bedrooms because we were so tired from sightseeing that we would sleep all night in those dark, comfortable rooms! We would definitely stay again!

The views across towards the coastline were amazing. The property was more spacious than expected. The shower was extremely powerful which was lovely and the bed was very comfortable. We liked watching the cows, peacocks, peahens and chickens. Great location for visiting many places. Thanks for the fresh quails eggs. The owners were away but we were made to feel very welcome by their daughter and the dog sitter.

Super accommodation with lots of little additional touches which were much appreciated. A great place to explore Moray from or just to unwind and relax with beautiful views and wandering peacocks. Dog friendly too!.

The bothy was nicely furnished and quite comfortable. It was delightful to watch the peacocks, chickens and cows. Owners were very welcoming and helpful with suggestions for local visits and hidden gems.

Great accommodation- clean, comfortable and well-equipped. The hosts were very friendly and had thought of everything, including fresh eggs on arrival. Views from the decking over the Moray Firth were superb, and we enjoyed the neighbouring peacocks and chickens. Location was also really good, just a few minutes drive from Elgin in peaceful countryside. Would definitely recommend.

Spacious flat in the heart of the New Town. The flat provides a great base for exploring Edinburgh and a comfortable base for relaxing in at the end of a day’s exploring.

Cannot recommend the bothy enough, beautiful scenery, great size, lovely finishing touches and has everything you need for a great short or long stay. The location was amazing as well. The hosts were lovely too. Will Definately be back, thanks again for having us 😀

We had the most wonderful time in this little hideaway. My boyfriend and I visited with our 16 week puppy - we stay in London usually so this was the perfect escape! The cottage interior was delightful, there was a cosy fire with games, loads of nice walks and beautiful stars. This is the perfect place to disconnect with the world. The hosts live nearby and couldn’t have been more accommodating. They even left fresh eggs from their chickens and homemade jams! Couldn't recommend this place more!

Fantastic property, we wouldn’t hesitate to return! An extremely comfortable and cosy bothy with amazing views and a lovely wood burner. Great hosts and peacocks for neighbours, what more could you want!

We had a great time at the cabin, ideal location just outside Elgin. It was easy enough to find thanks to additional signs put up by the owner. Perfect for a weekend away for a couple. The owners were absolutely lovely and the fresh eggs from the wandering chickens was a nice touch. We would definitely stay again!

The Bothy is a wonderful place to stay, peaceful and beautiful. Excellent communication, nice personal touches, clean and thoughtful. We very much enjoyed the peacocks wandering about too. A great quiet getaway location and base for exploring the area.

The Bothy was wonderfully equipped and comfortable, we settled in straight away and quickly got to exploring the incredible surroundings! Beautiful pond down at the bottom of the garden, peacocks added a magical quality and the woods beyond were an enchanting evening walk; lots of mushrooms, rabbits and even got to see deer on a couple of the evenings. Loved the place and would definitely go again.

What an amazing place! This has been one of our favourite getaways we've ever been on. The location was fantastic for us (avid walkers) so we were only a short drive from so many brilliant locations. The peacock's and peahen's were fascinating to watch as they are free roaming and often came very close the the cabin. Peter and Liz were very helpful with recommendations and also the books in the cabin were a great addition for suggestions. Would 100% return!

We found the Bothy very comfortable, well laid out and all the amenities that one would need. The shower was nice and powerful too. The wood burning stove was a really nice addition and given the weather we were delighted that we could use it.
I’m sure we’ll be back to stay!
